Obeying the command of our LORD to go into the world and preach the Gospel (Mark 16:15), by His grace, humble starts have been made in 7 places. The focus in all of them has to been start a Sunday School to reach children first and to grow from there.
(i) Whitefield
Started as a house gathering many years ago by a committed couple, today it has grown to become ‘Whitefield Methodist Church’. Regular Sunday School, two Sunday worship services and other ministries like Tuition, Area Fellowship take place on a regular basis
(ii) Priyanka Nagar
An area very close to our Church, a great need was there to reach out to people residing there. The Church has partnered with ‘COME Ministries’ to provide regular prayer, teaching, mentoring support to people there. Weekly Sunday School is held between 4 and 5pm.
(iii) Sadharmangala
Weekly Sunday School in Kannada is held between 4 and 5pm. An area very close to our Church, a great need was there to reach out to people residing there. The Church has partnered with ‘COME Ministries’ to provide regular prayer, teaching, mentoring support to people there. Team from BMC regularly visit this area.
(iv) Irula
An Indian Evangelical Mission (IEM) center, our Church partners in the following ways
- Conducting VBS every summer
- Conducting a Christmas program every year
- Financially supporting in small projects like bore well, Church painting
(v) Hoodi
The area first visited by Indiranagar Methodist Church (IMC) members, which has now grown to be Bethel Methodist Church (BMC), has a weekly Sunday School in Kannada between 4 and 5pm.
(vi) KR Puram
One of the more recent of our Outreach Center’s, weekly Sunday School in Kannada is conducted between 4 and 5pm.
(vii) Varthur
The most recent outreach center of our Church, weekly Sunday School in Kannada is conducted between 4 and 5pm.
